Moorea – Our First Waterhouse

Sailing the Waterhouse

Moorea is a 1974 French built 35′ Dufour Sloop.  With a 11 foot beam, she is roomy inside and a comfortable vessel to live in.

Moorea-Boat

Some of the her best features are the sea berths-keeps you snug during an ocean passage, Pullman berth in the stateroom-easy to climb into and built in wine racks-I told you it was a French boat.

She had most of the items we needed for offshore cruising like a radar and electronics.  But it still takes money, maintenance and patience to get a vessel ready for ocean passages.
